Dan has been an occupational therapist since 1996 and a Certified Hand Therapist since 2001.  He spent 4 years as a hand therapist in the military. It was during this time that he received extensive training in the treatment of traumatic injuries, and repetitive use injuries of the upper extremity..  He has also worked with the workman’s compensation population establishing work hardening programs, ergonomic education and Functional Capacity Evaluations.  He is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists, and presented a poster at the 2007 ASHT Conference on the treatment of a child with radial nerve injuries.
Dan received his Occupational Therapy Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has received advanced training on wrist and elbow injuries, and hand skill development in children. He is also ASTYM certified
