Renata Beaman began working with the Spooner Team in 2005. She created the Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Program in 2006, which helps women recover from complications that may arise from breast cancer disease and treatment. Renata earned her OCS Certification (Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist) in 2009, and combined this with special training in oncology (cancer). This allows her to provide patients with optimal treatments that help decrease pain, improve movement, function, and posture, increase strength, and manage lymphedema / swelling. She frequently gives lecture around the community, and has begun to train other therapists how to work with breast cancer patients. Renata has a strong athletic history running Division I Track and Field and coaching high school athletes to state championships, and she enjoys treating patients with a wide variety of orthopaedic injuries. Renata and her husband have 2 sons and 2 dogs. She enjoys her spare time hiking, traveling, and relaxing with her family.
