Brian Thies joined the Spooner team in 2005 after 3 years of experience in a specialized hand therapy clinic in Tucson, AZ. Brian's post-baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) has given him a special perspective into the unique activity limitations experienced by his patients. His clinical experience has encompassed the entire upper extremity, including the cervicothoracic junction, shoulder and elbow. Brian holds the designation of Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) for the upper quadrant, through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine - United States (IAOM-US). Brian was promoted to Director of Hand Therapy in 2007, after only 1½ years with Spooner, and he earned his Certified Hand Therapist Designation in 2008.His hobbies include general outdoor activities, golfing, and hiking.
