Kim Rondina joined Spooner in 2005 after 6 years of physical therapy experience in both the private outpatient and orthopedic surgeon office settings. Her clinical interests include orthopedics, sports therapy, manual therapy, evidence-based practice and the unique demands of the overhead-throwing athlete. Kim enjoys working with athletes of all ages and from a variety of athletic backgrounds. Injuries involving the knee, ankle complex and shoulder are of particular interest to her due to her athletic background. As a scholarship student-athlete at UNLV, she was a member of the softball team that finished 3rd at the 1995 NCAA Women's College World Series and competed internationally as a goodwill representative of the Unites States. Kim played softball at Horizon High School in Scottsdale, AZ before heading to UNLV. After returning to Arizona following her softball career, she was hired as the head coach of the varsity softball team at Horizon. She is currently pursuing her COMT (Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy) through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine.
