A native of Arizona, Michael developed an interest in the field of physical medicine following a personal athletic injury. After graduating from Northern Arizona University’s doctor of physical therapy program in 2006 he joined the Spooner Physical Therapy team. Michael is currently focusing his continuing education on progressive manual treatment of the spine and therapeutic exercise for the acute/chronic pain patient. He is also involved in the management and treatment of athletes in the Scottsdale school district with a focus on post-traumatic intervention and return to sport rehabilitation. Michael continues to advance his body of physical medicine knowledge and aspires to provide the highest level of care to his patients and community.
Michael and his wife are expecting their first child and look forward to the rewards and challenges that are awaiting them in the future. In his free time, Michael continues to be involved in recreational sporting activity including sand volleyball, hiking and a variety of team competition. Michael and his family are proud members of the Scottsdale community and strive to continue their local and international travels as much as the busy pace of life allows.
