Dr. Torrey Foster, Clinic Co-Director at the Spooner Scottsdale clinic, has been practicing physical therapy since 2001. An Iowa native, Torrey participated in football, basketball, baseball and track in high school. He then played football and baseball at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Torrey received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
Torrey understands what it is like to be a patient as he has had numerous fractures, sprains/strains and other injuries, including knee reconstructions due to ACL tears. He continues to stay active playing sports such as flag football, basketball, softball and volleyball. Torrey also promotes his own health and fitness through his intense personal workouts 3 days a week in the Spooner gym.
