Brian Thies joined the Spooner team in 2005 after 3 years of experience in a specialized hand therapy clinic in Tucson, AZ. Brian's post-baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) has given him a special perspective into the unique activity limitations experienced by his patients. His clinical experience has encompassed the entire upper extremity, including the cervicothoracic junction, shoulder and elbow. Brian recently obtained the designation of Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) for the upper quadrant, through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine - United States (IAOM-US). Brian was promoted to Director of Hand Therapy in 2007, after only 1½ years with Spooner. His hobbies include general outdoor activities, golfing, and hiking.

Carolyn Mittelsteadt is a native of the valley. She enjoys traveling worldwide, and had the opportunity to explore South America and Thailand this past year. Carolyn is also a hobbyist photographer. Recently, one of her photos was accepted and sold at the ASHT annual conference. Her work experience includes burn, in/outpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedic upper extremity.

Jennifer Jones has been practicing hand therapy since 1986, and has been with the Spooner Hand Therapy team since 2006. A Certified Hand Therapist for 15 years, Jennifer has extensive experience treating CVA, including fitting with the Saeboflex orthosis for neurologically impaired arms. Jennifer loves to hike, travel overseas and read. Her husband is a full-time pastor and they have 2 teenage daughters.

Carrie Fancher joined the Spooner Hand Therapy team in 2006. She is an Occupational Therapist with a passion for hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder therapy. Carrie is proficient in home safety and work site evaluations. Originally from Kansas, Carrie now resides in the Valley with her husband and son, Max.

Stephanie Konstantinidis joined the Spooner team in 2007 after 4 years of experience in a specialized hand therapy clinic in Chicago, IL. During those 4 years, she was promoted to hand therapy manager and associated closely with a group of orthopedic hand surgeons. Stephanie is excited to utilize her unique combination of managerial and clinical experience at Spooner to help build relationships within the local physician community. Her clinical experience has encompassed the entire upper extremity, including the shoulder and elbow.
